Laser cutting machine as a commonly used equipment familiar with metal processing, how much do you know about the internal structure and function of the cutting head? Take a look at it, the cutting head mainly includes 10 parts: optical fiber line, optical core, upper protection lens, collimator group, focusing mirror group, middle protection fine piece, lower protection lens, ceramic body, nozzle and focus.

1. Optical fiber line, we usually see is the outer layer of optical fiber line, play a role in protecting optical fiber. Bending diameter ≥200mm.

2. Optical core, this is the medium for laser transmission.

3. The upper protection lens, the lens is very thin, relatively cheap, the main function is to prevent dust into the cutting head inside, play a role in protecting the collimator. Because collimators are expensive.

4,. The collimator group, the collimator has a concave surface, resulting in refraction, when the laser passes through the collimator, the laser will be amplified, most of the cutting head is through the internal motor up and down the position of the collimator group, to change the focus.

5. The focusing mirror group, is to gather the laser, a small part of the cutting head is through the focusing mirror group to change the focus, the focusing mirror is also a very expensive lens.

6. The middle protection lens, this is relatively cheap, the same as the price of the lower protection lens, the main role is to protect the focusing mirror, play a sealing role.

7. The lower protection lens, to prevent perforation and cutting, iron slag upward, and isolate the role of cutting gas.

8. The ceramic body, the ceramic body has a metal wire inside, connecting the nozzle to the sensor, transmitting the nozzle induction data, the ceramic body is fragile, in the event of a more serious collision, so as to protect the cutting head.

8. Nozzle, laser and cutting gas through the nozzle, different nozzle cutting, cutting quality and speed are not the same.

10. Focus, focusing mirror after the light, the intersection of light is the strongest place of laser energy. Cutting different plates, using different focus, fiber laser is very sensitive to dust, any problem with a lens, will affect the cutting quality and speed.
