Precautions for using shearing machine:

1. The shearing machine should be used and maintained by a dedicated person. The operator must be familiar with the structure and performance of the machine tool.

2. It is strictly prohibited to use the shearing machine overloaded. Do not cut quenched steel, hard steel, high-speed steel, alloy steel, castings and non-metallic materials.

3. The blade edge should be kept sharp. If the blade edge is dull or damaged, it should be sharpened or replaced in time.

4. When multiple people are operating, there should be a dedicated person to direct the operation, and cooperation must be coordinated.

5. It is forbidden to cut two different specifications of materials at the same time on the shearing machine, and overlapping cutting is not allowed.

6. When shearing and feeding materials, it is prohibited to use the handle to facilitate the operation under the pressure plate. When cutting the material short, use an additional iron plate to hold it down. When cutting the material, keep your fingers at least 200 mm away from the knife edge.

7. After using the crowbar to align the line, you should immediately withdraw the crowbar before cutting. If the iron plate moves, use wooden sleepers to plug it tightly to prevent the pry handle from popping out and injuring people after the presser foot comes down.

8. The cut workpieces must be placed stably and should not be stacked too high or in the aisle. Leftover materials and waste materials must be cleaned up in time to keep the site tidy.

Shearing machine use:

1. First, turn on the power, turn on the key switch on the control panel, and then press the oil pump to start, so that you can hear the rotation of the oil pump. (The machine does not move at this time)

2. What you must pay attention to when shearing sheet metal is the adjustment of the gap, which is usually located on the side of the machine. Adjust the gap according to 12% to 15% of the sheet material. The gap value can be read on the dial. (For example, when cutting 10mm sheet material, the gap can be adjusted to 0.12mm)

3. The backgauge adjustment generally has electric quick adjustment and manual fine adjustment. You can first use electric adjustment to approximate the size and then use manual fine adjustment to the position you need to cut.

4. Depress the foot switch until the cut piece of sheet material is loosened, otherwise it will automatically lift up when loosened midway.
