How to deal with the no-pressure failure of the hydraulic bending machine?
Hydraulic bending machine is a common equipment in industrial production. Its working principle relies on the hydraulic system to achieve the functions of bending and forming workpieces. However, sometimes a hydraulic bending machine may experience a failure without pressure, causing the equipment to not work properly. This article will introduce in detail how to check and deal with the no-pressure failure of the hydraulic bending machine.
1. Check the fuel tank level
Hydraulic systems require sufficient hydraulic oil to function properly. First, check the fluid level in the hydraulic tank. Without enough fluid, the hydraulic system will not be able to build up enough pressure. Add an appropriate amount of hydraulic oil to the specified level, and ensure that the oil tank is well sealed to prevent external contaminants from entering the hydraulic system.
2. Check the quality of hydraulic oil
The quality of hydraulic oil has a direct impact on the performance of hydraulic systems. If the hydraulic oil deteriorates or becomes contaminated, it will affect the pressure output of the system. Check the color, smell and viscosity of the hydraulic oil. If it is found that the oil has deteriorated or has foreign matter, replace it with new oil in time. At the same time, clean the fuel tank and pipelines to ensure cleanliness inside the system.
3. Check the oil pump
The oil pump is one of the core components of the hydraulic system, responsible for pressurizing and delivering hydraulic oil to various components of the system. If the oil pump fails, the hydraulic system will not be able to build pressure. Check the working status of the oil pump, including whether the pump's suction filter is clogged or damaged. If the filter is clogged, it should be cleaned or replaced; if the oil pump itself fails, it needs to be repaired or replaced.
4. Check the relief valve
The relief valve is a safety device in the hydraulic system, used to control system pressure and prevent overpressure. If the relief valve becomes stuck or improperly adjusted, it may result in a loss of pressure in the system. Check the working status of the relief valve by adjusting its set pressure. If the valve core is stuck, it can be disassembled for cleaning or replacement.
5. Check the hydraulic pipeline
The integrity and smoothness of the hydraulic pipeline directly affects the pressure transmission of the hydraulic system. Check the hydraulic pipeline for oil leakage, blockage or damage. For oil leakage parts, the joints need to be tightened or seals replaced; for blocked or damaged pipelines, they need to be cleaned or replaced.
6. Check the control valve
Control valves are used to control the flow direction and flow rate of hydraulic oil. If the control valve is stuck or damaged, it will affect the normal operation of the system. Disassemble the control valve, check the condition of the valve core and valve seat, clean internal impurities and replace damaged parts to ensure the control valve is flexible and reliable.
7. Check the electrical control system
The electrical control system of the hydraulic bending machine includes circuits, relays, contactors and other components. The normal operation of these components is the guarantee for the normal operation of the hydraulic system. Check all parts of the electrical control system to ensure that the wiring connections are firm and the components are intact. If electrical components are found to be damaged or have poor contact, they need to be repaired or replaced in time.
8. Check the hydraulic cylinder
The hydraulic cylinder is the actuator in the hydraulic system and is responsible for converting hydraulic energy into mechanical energy. If the hydraulic cylinder leaks internally, it will cause insufficient system pressure. Disassemble the hydraulic cylinder, check the seals of the piston and cylinder barrel, and replace the seals if necessary to ensure the sealing performance of the hydraulic cylinder.
